Dimitrina Papagalska
Dimitrina Papagalska is an accomplished professional with an academic background and experience in the field of intellectual property. She graduated her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in intellectual property from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE). Her specialization lies in intellectual property within the television industry, and in 2018, she achieved the “Doctor” educational and scientific degree by successfully presenting her dissertation.
Dimitrina’s commitment to continuous learning is evident through her certifications from renowned institutions like the World Intellectual Property Organization Academy, Acumen Academy, and the International Program for Development Evaluation Training (IPDET), among others.
Currently, she is a Chief Assistant Professor at the Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Department at UNWE. In this role, she imparts her knowledge to both bachelors and masters students while managing various administrative responsibilities.
Beyond her academic experience at UNWE, Dimitrina has a passion for reforming education at all levels and for sharing her expertise in the private sector. She spent three years at the Center for Creative Training, where she steadily advanced from the position of “Training Coordinator” to “Organizational Knowledge Management Specialist” and ultimately “Organizational Development Director.”
Dimitrina’s extensive project coordination experience involves collaborations with government agencies, private sector entities, and non-governmental organizations. She has also been instrumental in organizing numerous national and international events, amassing over seven years of valuable experience in this domain.
Within the Foundation Lachezar Tsotsorkov, Dimitrina is Operations Manager, demonstrating her dedication to various areas of expertise.
Additionally, she is an active member of the Media Literacy Coalition and the Digital Republic Association. Dimitrina’s expertise extends to her role as a guest lecturer on copyright issues and digital learning platforms, where she shares her insights and enriches the understanding of her students.
