Svetla Tsachevska has over 15 years of rich and diverse experience in both the corporate and non-governmental sectors. She embarked on her educational journey by earning her initial Master’s degree in English and American Studies from the Sofia University. Subsequently, she furthered her academic knowledge by acquiring a second Master’s degree in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia.

Svetla’s professional development commenced with a prominent role at a leading telecommunications company in Bulgaria, where she led the coordination of decision-making and execution processes within the Sales Division. Eager to broaden her horizons and deepen her expertise, she ventured abroad, dedicating several years to a multinational MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) company based in Finland. There, she specialized in crafting tailor-made business events for senior Chinese delegations keen to gain insights from the exemplary practices implemented in Nordic countries across economic, educational and healthcare domains.

Over the past decade, Svetla has utilised her multifaceted background in a series of dynamic roles in Bulgaria, each demanding innovative concept generation and meticulous organizational acumen. She has served as the Secretary to the Managing Board of the Road Infrastructure Agency, assumed the position of Administrative Director at the Bulgarian-Nordic Chamber of Commerce, and led as the Executive Director at the Reform Union Club. Notably, during her tenure at the Reform Union Club, Svetla collaborated closely with Professor Lachezar Tsotsorkov, benefitting from his mentorship for nearly six years. A standout achievement from this period includes the in-depth planning and execution of nine editions of the Sofia Business School project.
