Svetla Tsachevska has more than 15 years of experience in both the corporate and NGO sectors. She obtained her first Master’s degree in English and American Studies from the Sofia University and another one in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. She later started her professional development at one of the leading telecom companies in Bulgaria where she was in charge of the decision-making coordination and execution process in the Sales Division.Seeking to expand her knowledge and experience, she spent several years abroad working for a multinational MICE company based in Finland, providing tailor-made business events for senior Chinese delegations eager to get acquainted with the good practices the Nordic countries have implemented in the economic, educational and healthcare sectors.

Over the last 10 years, Svetla has applied her versatile background at a series of positions in Bulgaria, all requiring extensive concept-generating and organizational efforts. At different points in time she was Secretary to the Managing Board of the Road Infrastructure Agency, Administrative Director at the Bulgarian-Nordic Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director at the Reform Union Club. It is the Club where she first met prof. Lachezar Tsotsorkov and had the privilege to work under his guidance for almost 6 years. Her most outstanding achievement of that period is the planning and realisation of a total of nine editions of the Sofia Business School project.
