The development and support of public and quality education in Bulgaria is a key priority for the Foundation. Our aim is to implement learning models and develop students’ knowledge and skills that will encourage their socio-emotional development and prepare them for the professions of the future. We support the introduction of innovative programmes that enhance teachers’ pedagogical capacity and correspond to the modern social problems and technological needs of the 21st century. An integral part of our work is securing a positive learning environment for all students. To this end the Foundation provides support, through materials and equipment, to schools in need or those schooling students with special educational needs. Our efforts towards quality education for all also include support for disadvantaged families to reduce school dropouts. The Foundation supports projects in the field of higher education by providing materials, equipment, funding for teacher training at home and abroad and other initiatives.
