The main focus of the Foundation in the field of healthcare is increasing the public awareness about the need for prevention and early diagnosis of oncological diseases, and in particular the prevention and treatment of colorectal cancer (colon cancer). To this end partnerships will be established with institutions and non-governmental organizations in Bulgaria working in this field to meet the needs for relevant high-tech equipment. Part of the resources of the Foundation will be earmarked for the professional development of doctors and experts in this field by providing financial support for their specializations and participation in international fora. Targeted scholarships will be awarded to medical students whose ambition is to specialize and work in this field.
